Moxa

Moxa, a type of dried mugwort, is commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine. Here are some benefits associated with its use:

  1. Pain Relief: Moxa is often applied to acupuncture points to alleviate pain, particularly for conditions like arthritis, muscle aches, and menstrual cramps.

  2. Improved Circulation: The heat generated by moxibustion (the burning of moxa) can enhance blood flow, which may promote healing and reduce inflammation.

  3. Boosted Immune Function: Moxa is believed to strengthen the immune system, helping the body fight off illnesses.

  4. Digestive Support: It may aid in digestive issues, helping to alleviate problems like bloating and irregularity.

  5. Stress Relief: The warming sensation and soothing properties can promote relaxation and reduce stress.

  6. Enhancement of Energy: Moxa is thought to help balance energy (Qi) in the body, contributing to overall vitality.

Dr Li is the best Chiropractor I’ve seen. She is a healer: she listens to you very patiently and try to figure out what’s the real problems. And she is honest about treatment plans. She treats and massages for an hour and I feel much better afterwards. Plus her fee for the service, with or without insurance is so reasonable. Can’t beat it. One more thing, she also speaks mandarin and Cantonese fluently which is a plus for old parents.

I have issues with my arms for a year. I have seen many chiros including ones associated with famous big hospitals. Other than receiving a big bill, nothing has improved. After around three treatments with Dr Li, my arm feels much better. Thank you very much Dr Li! I will 100% recommend Dr Li to anyone who may need a chiropractic service.
